Facts about PMS/PMDD:
- PMS is estimated D to affect up to 75% of women during their childbearing age.
- 5-7% of women suffer from the most severe form of PMS - Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder; some of them also suffer from depressive disorder.
- PMS/PMDD are treatable conditions. Treatment options include different medications, psychotherapy (biofeedback, relaxation training, cognitive-behavioral therapy), or combination of both.
